All you have to do is click on the button below, complete your details, come along to your preferred date for Introduction & Training, and get ready for a fun weekend!

The roles available include:

  • Registration/Information:
Registration and information volunteers assist with event registrations, allocating bib numbers and answering participant queries. This also covers merch distribution.
  • Course Marshals:
Course marshals will be positioned in various locations along the courses. Duties will include directing and supporting participants, providing event information to participants and spectators, and notifying event control if any problems arise.
  • Venue Marshals:
In order to run on time, and in the safest possible manner, we’re looking for volunteers to assist at the start/finish line and in and around the precinct. Other responsibilities include participant parking and officials’ liaison.
  • Aid Stations:
Quite simply, this is providing water (and/or fruit) and encouragement to all of the participants as they pass. There will be a number of different stations per event. This also includes helping to setup, manage, and packdown your designated aid station.
  • Operations:
This role comes in 3 stages: before, during and after the event. Volunteers are sought to assist with setting up, managing and packdown of venues, equipment and signage.
  • Lead Drivers & Cyclists:
Lead drivers and cyclists to take the front participants along the various routes, as well as assist at the back.

Volunteers are not simply required for the duration of the event, but also for assistance before and after. This is typically the day prior and the day of the event to help with registrations, setting up the event precinct and packdown. Day before volunteers are typically required 12noon to 5pm (approximately) and on the Event morning from 4.30am until mid-day. Ideally volunteers will have availability on both days to ensure ease of training and involvement with the participants and staff on site. Times required will alter based on your preferred role(s). Please let us know your availability within the registration process.

We thank you for your support and look forward to putting on a great event TOGETHER this November!
